Halo House Animal Resort Policies Cancellation Policy All cancellations must be done no later than 5 days prior to your arrival or there will be a 2 (two) day boarding charge for all pets with reservations. To pick up earlier than scheduled, please call to notify us a minimum of two days ahead of the new pick up day. This will enable us to allow another client to occupy that space. If no call is made, then you will be charged till your regular set up date was made. Pets who are picked up more than 24 hours early, will be charged 50% of the remaining boarding reservation. Kennel Policies Food - The food that we feed at our facility is Nutro Max Mini chunk and the cat food that we feed is Nutro Max cat. You may bring the food your pet is used to if you wish. We provide bowls for feeding, so please leave your bowls, plastic containers and measuring cups at home. Bedding - At this time, due to the canine influenza virus, we will not be accepting bedding or cloth items with your pet. Bathing - Dogs boarding with us for 5 nights or more, are given a complimentary bath before going home. This does not include aggressive, hard to do or dogs coats that matt. Holiday Stays - We accept holiday reservations in advance with a credit card guarantee. Any cancellation made inside of 48 hours of the reservation will be charged a 2 day stay. We reserve the right to require a minimum number of days for your pets stay in order to make a holiday reservation. The minimum day requirement varies, depending on the holiday. Rates - All rates are subject to change, without notice. Boarding Charges - Boarding charges are incurred for the first days stay, regardless of the arrival time that day. There is no charge for the dogs stay, if the pet is picked up before 11:00 a.m. (Exception being Sunday) Medication - Medication will be accepted as long as it is in the original container. We do not accept medicine put in the dogs food or loose in a bag unless it is a non-prescription item. Miscellaneous Policies All boarding dogs must be free of fleas or be given a Capstar and a Flea Bath at the owner's expense before entering our facility. Owners must provide proof of vaccinations/titers for their dog before it can stay at our facility. For the safety of all pets and visitors, customers pets are required to be on a leash and under control (or in a carrier) at all times on the property. For your pets safety, Halo House Animal Resort does not allow pets from different families to be boarded in the same room. Shot
